Efficiency in International Construction Dispute ResolutionQueen Mary University of London is partnering with Pinsent Masons for the 2019 international arbitration survey. The survey focuses on efficiency in international construction disputes, including the role of pre-arbitral dispute resolution procedures
By international construction disputes we refer to disputes concerning construction projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors where the project or one or more of the parties are based in different jurisdictions.
The objectives of this survey include:
- identifying the causes and nature of disputes;
- evaluating the use and effectiveness of pre-arbitral dispute resolution procedures;
- identifying causes of inefficiency;
- identifying efficiency improvements; and
- challenging perceptions.
The survey should take 10-20 minutes to complete.
